The Government of Canada and business organizations across the country are coming together to support businesses in Canada. Here is a list of resources that may be helpful to you and your business.

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

Business continuity plan and templates including templates for:

Employment Opportunities in Local Hospitals

Hospitals are gearing up to handle the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by posting new part-time and full-time positions. Positions are available immediately at the following hospitals:

  • Groves Memorial Community Hospital (Fergus)
  • Louise Marshall Hospital (Mount Forest)
  • Palmerston & District Hospital

Government of Canada

Canada's COVID-19 Economic Response Plan including:

  • Temporary income support for workers and parents
  • Longer-term income support for workers
  • Income support for low- and modest-income families
  • Flexibility for individual taxpayers (return filing date deferred to June 1, 2020) and businesses filing taxes (deferred to August 31, 2020)
  • Support from financial institutions
  • Mortgage default management tools (through CMHC and other insurers)
  • Support for businesses, including changes to the Canada Account and helping businesses keep their workers (temporary wage subsidies)
